16 year old Saul Ruiz is a high school outcast who struggles with school and retaining faith in God. Saul gets bullied and also doesn't have many friends but what he does have is a passionate love for music. He uses music as a mental getaway from all his problems. But as life's problems start to get overwhelming Saul begins to uncontrollably go through a dark depression. He begins finding himself slowly going through extreme changes mentally and even being tormented by the devil during sleep paralysis. As he turns to music to vent out his emotion his friends and his girlfriend leave him behind. His reputation and his music starts being taken as a joke by his classmates making fun of his songs. With a broken faith in God, broken self esteem, and broken relationships Saul decides that the pain is just too much to bear. So as a result he attempts to commit suicide. Take this amazing journey and find out how Saul escapes the darkness.
